Tips and hintsHints for Aphro Nails professional artificial nail buildingWith the following hints we would like to achieve if more and more nail technician strived for preparing aesthetic and lasting artificial nails while protecting the clients’ natural nails. With hints, comments as well as questions this page is regarded as a real library for nail technicians. Az Aphro Nails tippes technika, lépésről lépésreThe Aphro Nails tip technique step by step I. PREPARTORY PHASE 1. Cleaning hands and nails before beginning of the work, washing hands with S&M Waschlotion fluid soap, clean nails with Sicilian nail paste. 2. Disinfecting the hand skin with Kodan skin disinfectant. 3. Forming the free edge of the nail with Erlinda ceramic file that smoothes the free edge perfectly, thus the nail will not be broken or cracked. 4. Removing the cuticles with Cuccio Apple cuticle remover and ceramic stick. 5. Cleaning the sidewalls with Erlinda stainless nail scraper. 6. Roughing the nail plate with the Aphro Nails 180 grit (medium) file. 7. Disinfecting, degreasing with the Aphro Nails Ultrabond 3in1 prep. II. BUILDING PHASE 1. Choose Aphro Nails tips with appropriate shape and size; glue the tip on with the Aphro Nails tip glue; shorten the tip with the tip cutter. 2. Blend the tip with the Aphro Nails method 3. Apply the Aphro Nails base gel in a very thin layer to the natural nail dusted thoroughly with a dust brush beforehand, as well as to the whole surface of the blended, unvarnished tip. Work with Aphro Nails gel brush size 6 on 4-4-2 fingers while using the UV lamp! After applying the UV light the surface of the nail will be sticky, it will not be shining. If applying too much Aphro Nails base gel to the nail, its surface will be even and shining, thus the material cannot provide perfect adhesion for the Aphro Nails builder gels. 4. Spread a thin layer of Aphro Nails French Cover gel (dark pink, pink, natural, or cream) over the whole surface of the nail. Apply in this manner to one nail at a time. Use the gel that suits the most the client’s skin. The French Cover gels are not building gels, they are thin substances, so they have to be applied in a thin layer. 5. If we would like to make a French tip gel nail, we can prepare the free edge with the Aphro Nails French White Extra white thin gel or the Aphro Nails Soft White thick gel, applying it to one nail at a time. 6. Finish the artificial nail building with the Aphro Nails Builder Clear, the Aphro Nails Extra Builder Pink, the Aphro Nails Top Gel or the Aphro Nails Violet builder gel, applying it to on nail at a time. The Aphro Nails builder gels have a thick substance, so they spread fine, thus applying them the ‘C’ curve can be prepared perfectly. It is recommended to apply them in thickness of 3 tips. (One layer will have to be wiped off with the fixative, another layer can be filed off in the forming phase, thus we will have a nice, thin and lasting artificial nail). 7. After the final use of the UV light (approximately 3 minutes) the sticky part of the builder gel has to be wiped off with the Aphro Nails Gel fixative. For wiping use the thick, fibreless Aphro Nails wiping pads. III. FORMING PHASE The artificial nail gets its final length, shape as well as thickness in this phase. For this operation we recommend one of the Aphro Nails parallel file, the Aphro Nails 100/100, 100/180 grit paper files and the Aphro Nails buffer for the final smoothing. In the forming phase the nail grinding machines can help a lot. For this reason we offer a wide variety of coated bits. After dusting the nails thoroughly with a brush, apply the Aphro Nails Quick Finish gel to them. Thus the nails will get their final shine. Work on 4-4-2 nails and use the UV light for 60 seconds. The surface of this Aphro Nail shine gel will not be sticky so it does not require fixing. |
